Albion's Centurion Eco cylinders and combination units are approved for use with solar thermal systems by BRE
Clear Skies and their installation can now be grant assisted.
Centurion Eco cylinders feature purpose designed solar coil which allows maximum heat transfer of solar
energy into the stored water. 30% of the volume is dedicated solar capacity and 70% of the volume can be heated in a
traditional way via a British Standard Part L compliant primary coil on days when solar input is not sufficient to heat
the full content of the unit or on days when additional energy is required. For all-electric homes, direct units with
two immersion heaters are available.
- Primary systems: Suitable for gravity or pumped primary systems.
- Insulation: Choice of 30mm or 45mm thickness of environmentally friendly CFC-free urethane foam lagging.
- Range of capacities: From 135 to 250 litres.
- Guarantee: 2 years against manufacturing defects.
